Hello, I am Tushar Gadkari, presently doing my PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the Florida International University, Miami, Florida. My research is primarily focused on studying the effects of Nitric Oxide as a potent vasodilator in rat mesentery artery and its effects under normal and hypertensive conditions. My active interest are in performing reactivity studies on isolated, pressurized and perfused rat mesentery arteries. I am also involved in developing mathematical models to study the myogenic response of rat mesentery artery under agonist stimulus.
As a Master's graduate in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada, I was involved developing the deterministic and stochastic mathematical models to predict the region of atherosclerosis in the arteries.
As an undergraduate in Instrumentation Engineering, I was exposed to various control system environments and I have worked on designing instruments like pc based oscilloscope and real time data logger.
